Working With Us
The secret of our success lies in all of our personnel.
The Protecteam like to develop long standing and rewarding relationships with all our staff and operatives and are committed to developing each and every individual to make the most of each’s specific and unique skills and qualities.
When any new team member joins us, they will receive both basic, job and site specific training and a full induction to ensure that each is familiar and comfortable with their role and responsibilities. As each member progresses, they will be provided with both voluntary and compulsory training through our in house training division that will enable them to increase their knowledge and skills and further their careers with us.
Compulsory training is for members of staff at all levels and is carried out at six monthly intervals, it covers client relations, performance duties, conflict management and resolution, physical intervention and the Group’s policies and procedures.
Please Note:
We are currently looking for Door Supervisors and you will be applying for a self-employed subcontractor position with the Protecteam, thus meaning that you will not be applying for an employee position. If the Protecteam Group offer you shifts it will be on the basis of a sub-contractual agreement between yourself and the Protecteam.
The Protecteam do not guarantee to offer you shifts, but may offer you shifts if we have sites that match your profile, experience and skills where work is or maybe available. This may vary week on week or month on month and will be dependent on the availability of shifts and your personal availability.
You will be required to register as a self-employed individual and supply the Protecteam with your unique tax payers reference number (UTR). You will also be required to complete a self-assessment tax return annually by Her Majesty Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and the Inland Revenue.
Please also note that although you will be required to attend an interview, this will be to assess your skills, experience and induct you into how the Protecteam works, but it is in no way a guarantee of the Group having offered work to you.
